Juan Garcia Martinez

Juan obtained his Master of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Twente and went on to join ALLFED as a research associate. He has a background on carbon dioxide capture and utilization with his MSc thesis and his experience at the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands. His work at ALLFED focuses on assessing the potential of various technologies for production of food resilient to global catastrophes, including: fermentation technology in general, single cell proteins from CO₂ or natural gas, sugars from plant fiber or CO₂, fats from microorganisms or hydrocarbons, vinegar via microbial electrosynthesis, and glycerine as food from CO₂ or hydrocarbons.
